Super Specialist (Senior Consultant) : 
1. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
2. Post -graduate degree in the concerned speciality mentioned below or equivalent.
3. Seven years’ experience in recognized institution in the concerned speciality after obtaining DM/M.Ch in the respective discipline/subject

Super Specialist (Entry Level) : 
1. A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956).
2. Post -graduate degree in the concerned speciality mentioned below or equivalent.
3. Five years’ experience in recognized institution in the concerned speciality after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree in the respective discipline/subject(i.e. 02 years post DM/M.Ch experience)
Note 1 :In the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch. qualification of five years’ duration, the period of senior PG residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M. / M.Ch. shall be counted towards requirement of five years’ experience

Cardiology : Doctorate of Medicine (Cardiology)
Endocrinology : Doctorate of Medicine (Endocrinology); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Endocrinology
Gastroenterology : Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Gastroenterology); or Doctorate of Medicine (Gastroenterology); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Gastroenterology
Haematology: Doctorate of Medicine (Clinical Haematology ); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics); Doctor of Medicine (Pathology) with two years special training in Clinical Haematology
Nephrology : Doctorate of Medicine(Nephrology)
Neurology : Doctorate of Medicine(Neurology)
Oncology : Doctorate of Medicine (Medical Oncology); or Doctor of Medicine (Medicine); or Doctor of Medicine (Radio-therapy); or Doctor of Medicine (Paediatrics) with two years special training in Medical Oncology
Paediatric Surgery : Magister Chirurguie (Paediatric Surgery)
Plastic Surgery : Magister Chirurguie (Plastic Surgery)
Urology : Magister Chirurguie (Urology)
