Bachelor degree in Planning/ Architecture/ Civil Engineering + Master degree in Transportation Planning / Transportation Engineering
Exp. : (Jr. Transport Planner)
- A total of 5-8 years of experience with at least 4 years of full- time work experience in planning/ designing/research/ implementation of urban transport systems
- Experience of working on city level transport projects like planning for Multi-modal Integration, Last mile connectivity prioritising pedestrianisation, PT and NMV etc., is essential
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS is required; Knowledge in SPSS or other statistical analysis software will be an advantage
- Strong ability to employ qualitative and quantitative analysis is essential. Should have adequate understanding of the other travel demand modelling/microscopic simulation and other transportation modelling software
- Should be able to plan and administer data collection activities like traffic counts, opinion surveys, house hold surveys, O-D surveys, etc. necessary for urban transport projects.
- Experience in working with public sector organizations and government agencies is desirable
- Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner (Reports/ presentations) with good written and spoken English skills
- Proficiency in Kannada is desirable
Exp. : (Sr. Transport Planner)
- More than 8 years of experience with at least 6 years of full- time work experience in planning/ designing/research/implementation of urban transport systems
- Experience in working with public sector organizations and government agencies is desirable
- Experience in project management and strategic development of complex projects and processes is required
- Good knowledge in the development and checking of transport models and model forecasts and analyses is required along with the knowledge in AutoCAD and GIS software
- Experience of working on city level transport projects like planning for Multi-modal Integration, Last mile connectivity prioritising pedestrianisation, PT and NMV etc.,
- Good knowledge of Micro simulation/statistical software or other modelling software relevant to transportation planning
- Should be able to oversee and analyse the traffic and transportation related datasets
- Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner (Reports/ presentations) with good written and spoken English skills is must
- Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Kannada is desirable
