Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for two numbers of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the High Frequency Planar Magnetics for Renewable Energy System and Electric Vehicle Battery Charging under Solar Energy Research and Development (SERD-2019) programme funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.JRFs are required to work on the topics:

  • Design, development and fabrication of Electric Vehicle Charger using High Frequency Planar Magnetics and Wide Band Gap Devices.
  • Integrated control of electric vehicle charging system

Educational Qualification

M.Tech/M.E. (GATE qualified in past) in Power Electronics and Drives/ Power System/ Energy Systems and related specialization with thesis in the area of Power Electronics/Power System/Electric vehicles/renewables.

Desirable Qualification :  Analytical and experimental activities during M.Tech for the development in power electronics/power system with renewable sources having concluding understanding; knowledge of PCB design and experience with technical software/tools (such as PSIM, MATLAB, Code-composer) for the simulation studies, and microcontrollers for the implementation of control.

Age max 30 yrs
