Analytical Coach, Indian Junior Men National Hockey Team

Educational Qualification
  • High Performance Coaching qualifications minimum of (Level 2, FIH) or experience of successful performance achievements at the International level
  • Knowledge of current Men’s international teams and athletes with the ability to teach and implement different offensive and defensive strategies
  • Demonstrated experience in match analysis in a High Performance setting
  • Knowledge of leading trends in Coaching, including Coaching science, practices and the appropriate application of leading technology tools
  • Experience of working with in a professional sporting environment.

Min. Skill Set : 

  • Technical knowledge of modern hockey principles including skill development, game tactics, coaching trends and international developments
  • Experience in the use of analytical software e.g. Sportscode to ensure effective analysis of practice sessions and matches are performed and used to further the knowledge of players
  • Well developed liaison, interpersonal, oral and written communication and people management skills
  • Sound administration skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Efficient and organised, and strong awareness of self and self-management
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, observe confidentiality and use discretion and initiative
  • Ability to thrive in a pressured environment of irregular and long hours, and capacity to travel domestically and overseas for extended periods.
